CAPEGARD 500MG TABLET contains capecitabine, which belongs to the group of medicines called antineoplastic agents. It is used in the management of abnormal growth of cells present in the colon, rectal, gastric, and breast regions. It may be used either alone or in combination with other medicines. CAPEGARD 500MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you have severe liver or kidney disease. CAPEGARD 500MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver disease, kidney disease, heart problems, brain disease or nerve damage, diabetes, or a history of eye problems. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

How to consume Capegard 500mg Tablet:

Take a Capegard 500mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Do not crush or chew the tablet. If you miss a dose of this tablet, take it as soon as you can if it is within 12 hours of the missed dose. If it is over 12 hours since your missed dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your usual dosing times to avoid taking double doses. Call your doctor to ask about making up the missed dose.
