DUOVIR E KIT is a combination of Efavirenz, Lamivudine, Zidovudine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiretroviral drugs. It is used for the management of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in adults.

HIV is the Human Immunodeficiency Virus which severely damages the immune system and lead to Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) which is characterized by fever, chills, rash, night sweat, muscle aches, sore throat, fatigue.

DUOVIR E KIT should be used in caution with patient having liver, kidney and heart disease. Consult your doctor for advice before taking the medicine.

DUOVIR E KIT should be used with caution in pregnant woman. It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it may pass through the breastmilk. Consult your doctor for advice before taking the medicine.

DUOVIR E KIT is not recommended for use in children. Consult your doctor for advice. DUOVIR E KIT should be used with caution in patients above 65 years of age.

How to use DUOVIR E KIT:

DUOVIR E KIT contains Efavirenz, Lamivudine, Zidovudine which collectively works against the HIV infection by blocking the action of the reverse transcriptase enzyme, which is essential for the virus to multiply and therefore it reduces the amount of HIV in the body.
