Introduction of DUOVIR E KIT:
DUOVIR E KIT is a combination of Efavirenz, Lamivudine, Zidovudine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiretroviral drugs. It is used for the management of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in adults.
HIV is the Human Immunodeficiency Virus which severely damages the immune system and lead to Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) which is characterized by fever, chills, rash, night sweat, muscle aches, sore throat, fatigue.
DUOVIR E KIT should be used in caution with patient having liver, kidney and heart disease. Consult your doctor for advice before taking the medicine.
DUOVIR E KIT should be used with caution in pregnant woman. It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it may pass through the breastmilk. Consult your doctor for advice before taking the medicine.
DUOVIR E KIT is not recommended for use in children. Consult your doctor for advice. DUOVIR E KIT should be used with caution in patients above 65 years of age.
The most common side effects of taking DUOVIR E KIT are dizziness, nausea, headache, diarrhea. Consult your doctor if the side effects worsens or persists for a longer duration.
