Introduction of AROMASIN
25MG TABLET:

AROMASIN 25MG
TABLET contains Exemestane which belongs to the group of medicines called
Aromatase inhibitors. It is used for advanced breast cancer in post-menopausal
women whose disease has progressed following Tamoxifen therapy. It is also used
for hormone-dependent advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women when
management with different hormonal drug management has not worked well enough.

Breast cancer is
a disease in which cells in the breast grow out of control. There are different
kinds of breast cancer. The kind of breast cancer depends on which cells in the
breast turn into cancer. Breast cancer can begin in different parts of the
breast.

Before taking
AROMASIN 25MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problem, a
history or are suffering from any condition which affects the strength of your
bones. AROMASIN 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use among pregnant and
breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it. The most common side
effects of taking AROMASIN 25MG TABLET are depression, headache, muscle, and
joint pain, hair loss, and abdominal pain. Consult your doctor if any of the
side effects worsen or persists for a longer duration.

Uses of AROMASIN 25MG TABLET:

• advanced
  breast cancer in post-menopausal women whose disease has progressed following
  Tamoxifen therapy

How to use AROMASIN 25MG TABLET:

Take AROMASIN
25MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of
water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct
duration for you depending upon your age, body weight, and disease condition.
